About My Journey
Discover my story and commitment to sharing my experience in a few lines.
My Story
Hi! My name is Taisiya and you’re visiting my blog, where I share my experiences as a woman and a mom. I figured out that before you start browsing through the blog, it would be helpful, and maybe interesting as well, for you to learn something about me.
I was born and raised in Ukraine and moved to Germany, where I reside to this day, almost 10 years ago after the war with Russia started in the Donbas region in 2014. I and my family weren’t in danger then because we lived in Zaporizhzhya. My parents still live there and now it is approximately 50 km from the front line in 2024.
Support
All of the struggles and journeys I have experienced throughout the years made me think that I want to share my experiences and that I want to provide some comfort to other women. It is not always easy to share some bits of information about me but it is necessary to share it in order to find a touching point with you, dear ladies.
Women often struggle to keep up with society’s trends and requests, whether it’s career, personal life, or even motherhood. I’ve created this blog so that we can share the burdens and overcome them. Moreover, I’m here to learn together with you how to free ourselves from the stereotypes and become a better version of ourselves!
The blog is a platform that transcends borders, bringing women together to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. By sharing my experiences, I seek to create a supportive and inclusive space where the collective strength of womanhood is celebrated, and a shared understanding of the world is cultivated. This is a commitment to fostering unity among women from diverse backgrounds and cultures while embracing the richness and diversity of the global community.
Embarking on a Journey
I’m in my early 30’s right now and I became a mom three years ago. My life away from my parents, other relatives and friends has been quite a journey and it still is. This is one of many reasons why I’ve decided to create this blog. The biggest push towards this project was the postpartum depression and the feeling of isolation.
Thankfully, my family supported me greatly through this time. My wonderful husband was giving and is still giving his best as husband and dad, my parents were there for me even though they live a couple of thousands of kilometers away, and it was hard to travel during the pandemic because of harsh restrictions. I’m also very lucky to live in a country with developed social services available to everyone here.
